Clerkin Psychology Services Ltd is an independent private psychology practice, run by Dr Colin Clerkin, BA (Hons), DClinPsych, CPsychol, AMAC. We offer psychological assessment, therapy and coaching services to the public, the legal profession and the Courts.

Dr Clerkin is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist (Chartered), registered with the Health Professions Council. He is experienced in a range of therapeutic interventions with adults and children, with a particular interest in working with anxiety problems and trauma. He is also an expert witness in both the Family Courts and in medico-legal matters relating to trauma. He works full-time in private practice, along with several part-time Associate Clinical Psychologists.

Clerkin Psychology Services Ltd offers a range of psychological assessment, therapy and coaching services to individuals, medical legal organisations, solicitors and the Courts, delivered by experienced Chartered Clinical Psychologists and accredited therapists.

In legal matters, we offer expert witness services in Family Court proceedings as well as medico-legal assessment for trauma-related injuries.

Our aim in therapy is to assist you in tackling problems you are experiencing with emotional health difficulties, dealing with trauma or managing stress.

Our coaching services are designed to help individuals identify their true priorities and potentials, personally or within their careers, then set goals to move them towards important positive outcomes, and support them in taking the steps that will take them towards achieving these goals.

Our consulting rooms are available for hire on a sessional basis by fellow clinical psychologists, psychotherapists, coaches and counsellors.

Our supervision services are designed to assist professional therapists and coaches consider their practice, and improve the services they offer to their clients, by supporting them in reflecting both on what they are already doing well and recognising what they need to work on to improve.
